Sprouted Horse gram (kulith) and the Harvested Organic Spring Onions

Sprouted Horse Gram (kulith) and the harvested Organic Spring Onions from terrace garden.

Horse gram is popularly known as ‘kulith’ in Maharashtra and is widely used in Malvani and South Indian cuisines. They are very nutritious and full of medicinal uses.

My dad says earlier in my native place, when someone fell ill due to cough and cold, the village people used to boil this superfood and add some salt and spices give the kids to drink it.

In this age of packaged food and quick easy store bought food leaves us with less healthy eating.

The recipe for this one is very easy. I will surely post it in sometime. Remember it is all about going back to the roots.

Oh almost forgot to post my harvested organic spring onions.
